Takaharu Matsumura has extensive experience in compliance / risk management and corporate crisis management issues. He advises clients on general corporate law matters including issues relating to Companies Act and Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, as well as labor law and M&As. His labor law experience includes providing advice on labor issues related to organizational restructuring and business rehabilitation, advice on personnel and pay reduction, negotiation with labor union, and dealing with government offices. Additionally, Mr Matsumura has also worked on matters related to real estate property law involving buying and selling, lease, management, investment, and development as well as insurance law, including interpretation of insurance business law and provision of legal advice in relation to insurance contracts.
