"Seminar on the Implementation of Antimonopoly Law of China" was held on March 21 and 22, 2009 in Beijing, China. The seminar, organized by the China Society for World Trade Organization Studies, gathered experts in Chinese antimonopoly law including the director of the Anti-monopoly Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, the head of the Department of Price Supervision of National Development and Reform Commission, the head of the Anti-Monopoly and Anti-Unfair Competition Enforcement Bureau of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the professor of Law School and the chief of Competition Law Center of the University of International Business and Economics, and the chief of Institute of Economic Law, the director of Economic Law Research Section and the academic supervisor of the doctoral program of Peking University. The seminar was attended by more than 100 prominent guests such as domestic and international legal practitioners.

Mr. Akira Moriwaki, our partner made a presentation entitled "Development and Vision for the Japanese Antimonopoly Law" in Chinese and outlined the Japanese antimonopoly law including backgrounds for an implementation of leniency system in Japan and proposed amendment thereto.
