The European Commission adopted a revised version of the Technology Transfer Block Exemption Regulation and its accompanying Guidelines, introducing new guidance on several areas, including data licensing, licensing negotiation groups and technology pools. Separately, the EC imposed a €200 million fine against the Chinese online retailer Temu under the Digital Services Act for failing to properly assess and mitigate the risks of illegal products being sold on its platform.
