Tatsuhiko Makino is a Partner in our Tokyo office focusing on cross‑border dispute resolution, with particular expertise in (re)insurance and international construction projects. He handles large, multi‑jurisdictional insurance and reinsurance disputes and transactions — including complex claim handling and reinsurance contract negotiations — while also advising on the full lifecycle of overseas construction projects, from FIDIC‑based contract drafting and bid documentation to project‑delay resolution and related disputes. Shunsuke Domon specializes in international arbitration, mediation, and litigation. He has acted as counsel in a number of international arbitration cases under major institutional rules including Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), Japan Commercial Arbitration Association (JCAA), and Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) as well as in mediation cases (including an online mediation under the JIMC-SIMC Joint Covid-19 Protocol). He has also advised clients in cross-border disputes involving various jurisdictions in Southeast Asia (such as Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia), Hong Kong, India, the United States, Italy, Jordan, and Egypt.

Kenichi Sadaka is a litigation partner at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, engaged mainly in international & domestic litigation, commercial arbitration and other dispute resolution procedures. Takefumi Sato is a partner specializing primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation and other dispute resolution proceedings.  His experience covers a broad range of disputes, such as, securities litigations, M&A and Joint Venture related disputes, franchise business lawsuits, disputes over control of a company, and defective products lawsuits.  He also has a broad experience in the areas of labor and employment, including, advising revision of company rules, strategic advice in a pre-dispute phase, negotiation with protesting employees, handling lawsuits, preliminary injunction and labor tribunal, and advising on collective bargaining with labor unions.

Motoya Ishibashi has experience in asset management, investment trust, REITs and capital markets. He also advises matters regarding real estate and financial regulations.

Keisuke Suzuki provides advice on a wide range of transactions in energy and natural resources, project finance, PFI, and corporate restructuring. In addition, taking advantage of his experience in dispatching to Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), he has provided numerous practical, transaction focused advices to domestic and international clients on renewable energy projects, including onshore and offshore wind, corporate PPAs and VPPAs, and BESS projects.

Having handled mainly civil and administrative cases as a judge for more than 7 years, he is strong in litigation and other dispute resolution cases. He also has extensive experience in recent legal insolvency proceedings, having served as the chief judge in very large bankruptcy cases and civil rehabilitation cases in the 20th Civil Division of the Tokyo District Court, which is the center court for business rehabilitation and insolvency matters.
