Akihito Miyake focuses on all aspects of legal issues related to the asset management businesses. He has significant experience in providing legal services and advice in relation to formation, offering and distribution of various types of investment funds both in and outside of Japan, registration of asset managers and distributors acting in Japan, operations of financial instruments business operators regulated in Japan, business deployment in the Japanese market and inbound investments by foreign asset managers, as well as outbound investments by domestic investors. His experience also encompasses support in various capital market transactions and financing projects. Additionally, Mr. Miyake has worked extensively on general corporate matters at various phases of corporate activities ranging from ordinary course of business to corporate crisis situation.
