Shun was involved in anti-smuggling measures, tariff negotiations with the Trump administration, dealing with the CPTPP, drafting anti-dumping tariff implementation ordinances, reviewing retaliatory tariffs, and enacting the Economic Security Promotion Act during his tenure at the Ministry of Finance. He also has experience working at Tokyo Customs and is well-versed in customs procedures and post-clearance audit inspections conducted by customs.
