Yoshiaki Otsuki is a legal expert in the area of Energy and Natural Resources.
He has vast experience in representing the Japanese utility companies in respect of their import transaction of LNGs, as well as any other corporate deals, including M&A transactions, which involve the utility companies.
Recently Yoshiaki has developed his deep knowledge over the new energy topics like CCS and hydrogen energy, etc.
Yoshiaki also has substantial expertise in the Japanese Mining Law. He has advised some foreign mining companies with respect to their mining projects in Japan.
Yoshiaki was seconded to JOGMEC (Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security), where he was involved in a lot of upstream oil and gas projects, geothermal projects, and metal/mineral projects.
Lastly, he has also substantial knowledge and experience in the solar power projects in Japan.
