Mirai Translate, Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Tomoyoshi Oono, hereinafter Mirai Translate), in collaboration with Anderson Mori & Tomotsune (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), has developed a new legal translation engine for Japanese ⇔ Chinese (Simplified).

This new legal translation engine is similar to the Japanese ⇔ English legal translation engine developed by Mirai Translate (in collaboration with Anderson Mori & Tomotsune) in September 2019. In light of the success of this Japanese ⇔ English legal translation service, and in response to the high demand for legal translation between Japanese ⇔ Chinese, we have developed this new program for Japanese ⇔ Chinese (Simplified) to assist with difficult legal translation. This new translation engine includes automatic translation of legal documents containing difficult technical terms, as well as automatic translation of complex long sentences typically found in contracts.

Mirai Translate will incorporate this legal translation engine into Mirai Translate services as a business solution to help improve the efficiency of companies’ businesses. Anderson Mori & Tomotsune will continue to make efforts in relation to legal AI, including continuing to collaborate in the development of legal translation engines.
