Yoshitaka Sakamoto has engaged principally in the fields of M&A and general corporate matters, and regularly advises both Japanese and non-Japanese clients in this regard. In addition to his professional experience at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, Mr. Sakamoto worked for the Civil Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, where he was in charge of the legislative project to revise Japanese corporate laws (2017-2019). He also worked for Reed Smith LLP in Los Angeles as a foreign secondee (2016-2017).
