In addition to advising companies on either launching, or defending against, a takeover, we also work directly with many listed companies to improve their pre-warning defense measures and to assist them to form an independent committee as a precaution against any attempted takeover. In the event that a hostile takeover attempt is launched, we work closely with and support management to fight for the common interests of shareholders by utilizing all suitable defense measures and assisting in the proxy fight.
